God Has Glorified His Name Through Our Lives and Ministry.

Dennis Reid a former inmate of the Orange County Corrections Department and Florida Department of Corrections. While incarcerated God put His burden on Dennis’s heart to restore the lives of those incarcerated and their families.

Inmates of the Cross Ministries was birthed in the spring of 1996. Initially, Inmates of the Cross was named Men of the Cross, but God revealed to Dennis that not only did He want the hearts of men healed and restored back to wholeness, but He wanted to restore and heal the hearts of women also.

Dennis is an ordained minister and received his Christian Education at the Christian Life School of Theology. He has served as a Chaplain of Orange County Corrections Dept. (33rd street jail) ever since 2007. He also serves as Corporate Chaplain for Westbrook Services Inc. in Orlando, Florida along with serving as a Community Clergy at Orlando Health Hospital.

Dennis has co-labored with multiple jail & prison ministries throughout Central Florida. Namely, Final Freedom Aftercare Ministries, Orange County Jail Ministries, Good News Jail & Prison Ministry, Kairos Prison Ministry and Open Homes Fellowship. It is his passion and desire to see the heart of individuals, families and communities healed and restored back to wholeness by the love of God.

Dennis has been happily married to Joan for 26 years and have two beautiful daughters Audrianna and Michaiah. Dennis also has two beautiful adult daughters Kachina and Fallon.

Dennis currently lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife and two children.
